It is only one component which IS mainly reserved for advanced players in the Pen hold Grip. This is known as the shake hand grip. It is called a shake hand grip because the blade rests on the V-shape created by one’s thumb and index finger, and save for the other three fingers, this grip will make it look like one is about to shake hands with someone. It’s hard to explain the proper process, so it’s recommended that you get advice from your coach on this step.
2. How to Serve the Table Tennis Ball:
The serve is one of the most important in table tennis – after all, every rally has to start with a service. If you’ve played a friendly match of table tennis before then you’ll know that hitting the ball back and forth is quite easy — what’s not easy is serving. So you can be confident that you are always getting up to date information.
3. How to stand in front of the table:
Firstly you need to think yourself how you are standing in front of the table tennis. It is most of the important things that a players need to get serious with table tennis especially beginners. Some of common mistake with beginners is standing too close to the table and this can be damaging for a number of reasons. It can less time to react and difficult to move suddenly. Therefor they have to idea about standing on the table.
There are two aspects factors to stand on the table:
- First is Width
- Second will be the Distance
Width refers to the width of your feet. You need to have a wide stance when playing table tennis as this makes it much easier to move around.
Your feet should be anywhere between 1.5 to 2 shoulder-widths apart. Don’t neglect to bend your knees as well!
One of the most important notes is trying to play the ball at different heights. Many players master play from only one or two distances. It is best to play from 3 distances.
4. What spins is on the ball?
The key to acquiring this important skill is to carefully watch the opponent’s racket when it makes contact with the ball. If the opponent’s racket is moving from low to high, the spin is topspin; from high to low, backspin; from his/her left to right, right sidespin, and from right to left, left sidespin.
5. Use only your own racket:
One of the most comfortable feel is own everything tools in the table tennis. It can help you to feel comfortable and get to use it exclusively when you are in the game. You never can feel comfortable other rackets. So it is very important and tries to respect with your own rackets wherever use it but after use take good care of your racket as well as treat it with respect. You should wash it with soap and water or a special racket cleaner after every use.
6. Mix up serves of different length and spin:
Do you want to improve your serves and spin with mix different serves? If you want to serves in varies mix you should need some examples of advanced serves include medium-long, deep, short, down-the-line, pure spin, pure speed, etc. Serves to the elbow tend to be very effective, since the receiver must quickly decide and often does not in time to use a forehand or backhand. So it is really important to improve with different length and spin in your serving tennis ball.
7. Develop sidespin serves:
If you are a beginner or new to table tennis, teaching a couple of good serves can make all the difference in your matches. Most beginners serve very little spin to their serves. Confidence can bring to develop your sidespin. Few beginners use sidespin on their serves; whereas, top players use sidespin on almost every serve. The games difference between winning and losing a game against other players at your own level. Play the point out and beat them in the rally, this is a perfectly acceptable way to win points but it could be so much easier. Serve fast enough to catch your opponent off guard .If you are playing a half decent beginner, confident at hitting the ball hard, you can actually end up on the back foot after these types of serves. Particularly useful is a sidespin/backspin serve that is low to the net and bounces twice on the other side of the table.

If you are beginner in the table tennis and want to learn this game. Firstly my recommend is joining in club. A table tennis club is the best place to do this. As a matter a fact, most top players win because they can make good spin on the ball. They do not win because of superior technique.
